If you liked the East-West Cross Florida, you will love the challenge of going North to South on the Florida Traverse! Beginning at the Florida/Georgia border, you will travel dirt and paved roads for over 800 miles to the Southern tip of the Florida peninsula! Small towns, rural areas, and historic sites await!

You’ll travel through Florida’s breadbasket, what remains of Florida’s citrus lands, through praries and Florida’s cattle history in what those in the know call “MacIvey Country”. The great swamp and early Florida life awaits.

All in two days.

Event Day One takes you from the Florida/Georgia border to the middle of the state.

Event Day Two takes you from there into the Everglades.

You will need to plan on 4 days. A day to get to the start, two days of the event, and a day to return home.

In other words, there is no return trip. If you truck or trailer to the start, you will have to return to the start from the end point. That is unless you have someone to drive your vehicle to the end point each day.

Start is in Lake Park , GA. Information on start and lodging is emailed to all participants when you register.

Florida Traverse Refund Policy

Due to this being a limited entry event, there will be no refunds after registration. You can sell your spot, but need to contact DDS with rider name and info.

We also suggest you get trip insurance. That way if you can not make the event, or can not sell your spot, you can still recover at least part of your entry. Google "trip insurance"
