DixieDualSport Adventure Tours
are geared towards experienced off-road and adventure riders who are capable
of logging many dual sport miles (200+) each day on a variety of terrain. These
are not paved road tours, though we try to encompass the best pavement
sections to link our dirt routes!
There are many things to see and a lot of ground to cover.
These expeditions are not for new riders, or those that posses limited off-road or
long distance adventure riding experience.
We do not encourage passengers on these Expeditions. All persons participate
at their own risk. DixieDualSport does not warrant your safety. Motorcycles are
dangerous.
It doesn't matter what type of motorcycle you ride, as long as you possess the
experience and skill to cover many dual-sport miles each day. The Expeditions
are designed for the most fun if you have a mid-sized dual sport in mind.
(KLR650, DR650, DRZ400, etc).
Larger bikes (V-Stroms, Tigers, GS's, etc) will be provided with directions from
the guide to bypass any difficult section. DixieDualSport guides reserve the right
to direct riders to less difficult routes and still maintain the theme of the tour.
Safety is our first priority. Check the ego with your luggage. We want everyone to
enjoy themselves and have great
stories to tell of the ride, not of an injury.
Rental motorcycles are not currently available, but to provide this
service in the future is under consideration at this time.
Please do not register for an Expedition if you and/or your machine may not be
capable of completing the Expedition. Your riding experience sets the pace for
the group. DixieDualSport is not responsible for the maintenance, repair or
up-keep of your motorcycle during the expedition.
Now what the lawyer has to say....
DixieDualSport is not the owner of any of the suppliers of services and
companies, individuals or other entities supplying services to this tour.
DixieDualSport shall not be liable for any personal injury or property damage to
you or your property. DixieDualSport also shall not be liable for personal injury or
property damage as a result of acts or omissions by any hotel, motel,
restaurateur, or any other supplier of services to any of these tours.
DixieDualSport shall not be held responsible for delays or substitutions of
equipment, accommodations or services by suppliers beyond the control of
DixieDualSport.
DixieDualSport maintains the right to withdraw any tour, or to make changes in
the tour that may become necessary due to factors beyond it's control, including
substitution of accommodations and transportation (including such charges that
might be deemed necessary for the welfare of the tour members).
The right is reserved to decline, to accept, or retain any person as a member of
any tour, or to cancel or alter the tour.
All rates are based on current tariffs and prices, and are subject to change. All
rates are subject to availability and restrictions may apply.
