Let's talk about all the good DDS has done for the
motorcycling community and the communities in which our
members live:
School supplies. Each year we fill some giant boxes with supplies
riders brought (pencils, erasers, notebooks, folders, etc) and those
supplies go to Lacoochee Elementary School near where the Devil’s
Creek route goes by.
Organizations: like the Sylacauga Boys Club in Sylacauga
Alabama, which help keep kids off the streets, have benefited from
DDS events.
Trash pick-ups in the forest, pulling junk that people take out and
dump. DDS members have pulled, paint cans, beer bottles, bedding,
tires, and boats…yes boats…from out of the forest!
Trail Maintenance: DDS Members have adopted and are
maintaining a 14 mile motorcycle-only trail in the Ocala National
Forest!
Charity events, like the Florida Adventure Rally, or the double
header of the Gobbler and Big Hearted Adventures raising holiday
gift cards for foster care kids.
And DDS is a proud sponsor of the DreamHouse 500 motorcycle
ride in Alpharetta, GA for medically fragile children.
DDS is a community based organization, with roots in the
communities where our members live. Responsible riders have
made what you enjoy today, and it does not matter in what state you
live. Organizations like DDS create the good will with land
management agencies and local charitable groups. We are an
organization of responsible community-minded motorcyclists with a
history of giving and education, not just another recent internet forum
that doesn’t have a home, a neighborhood, or a history of helping the
communities in which their server is based.
DDS builds good neighbors.
Good neighbors build strong communities.
